Go Go Gadget Reality Check, Ali Babba’s,& RED FEZ!!!

three guys get shot last night. one right here at the mall (near the movie theater)

i get pulled over for ’speeding through an intersection’, heading to yet another unadvertised show, and find out my license has been suspended since November!

so by the grace i didn’t get shot yesterday or go to jail –but it can all happen to any of us at any given moment. so how are we spending these moments? more accurately…how am I spending these moments? what’s crazy is i even started to just cancel that show..cause i know all our promotion efforts have gone into promoting Feb. 1st show for 2nd String & reSEARCH’s show @ the Cornerlounge.

there HAS to be balance. anyway….

to top it all off however, i did lose my license and won’t be driving until I pay off some phantom fines or prove that i had insurance at the time of blah blah blah.
moving on…

Due to current diet restrictions, I’ve developed a NEW LOVE …bka….

‘the falafel’

and since this love hasn’t inspired ANY of my culinary art skills, I’ve also developed a consumerist infatuation with two in particular business that sell the lovely ‘falafel’ at a price i deem most-reasonable. They are….

BOTH of these institutions of nutritional mercy know ya boy by sight now! they haven’t quite asked me my name, but they do know my order — the owner at A.B.’s began breaking the ice, last week, by telling me about over expensive meals in France. I’ll be spending more there well after these ‘dietary restrictions’ are finished (next wednesday!!! WOO hOO!!) — now

as for Red Fez………

it’s like that girl next door you NEVER FREAKIN’ SAW until after your sophomore year in college, on some random return visit home, you’re taking out the trash for mom, and then BAM…there she is! wearing your rival school’s throwback jacket (PROOF she’s BEEN here a while) and she’s looking every bit of ‘you really didn’t have to suffer through puberty like that’ and at this point; you ask yourself ‘exactly HOW blind am I !?’ — cause R.F. has been in my neighborhood for yyyyyyeeeeeeeeaaaarrrss. and i’ve been driving RIGHT-by- them for yeeeeeaaaaarrrrsss and never pulled into their drive thru to grab a bite, grab a napkin, or anything. it’s ridiculous.

but all is well. we know each other now.
