…a matter of time.

i just recorded “We Fam” feat. Manhattan Project

long as i’ve been ripping mics i can’t honestly say i’ve been on a true club banger. the closest would be this joint called “Mouthpiece of Innovation” off of the Fluid’s last effort (classic) but other than that, this is the most marketable to date.

a lil info on: MANHATTAN PROJECT

“they live it how they spit it. simple and plain.” (c) B. Atticus

they get their group’s name from the Old Oak Ridge project named ____________*guess*, and as residents of the area, these two represent ‘The Ridge’ with some lyrical zest over well composed beats with ease. MP is comprised of two members: Mr. “Jaymo Jangles” and Mr. “2Dub”. Both were part of a rap group (ghostwriters) that didn’t seem to make it past sophomore efforts, but together they’ve combined into a sound I’m sure listeners will appreciate for years to come.

Personally, I got hooked once I heard a joint called ‘Ms. Etienne’ …very OutKast-ish….the level of production was just as infectious ….i had to get them on this project**

SOON as I heard the beat for ‘We Fam’, I knew they’d bless the track lovely.

Ironically, I’ve done three songs already with these Katz. It’s pretty easy for an emcee to get wrapped up though — cause their set up is so simple. you got a living room, sofas that feel familiar, the OPTION to hit up a play station, or just sit there and write. plus they run through tracks likes nobodies business.

you’d really just have to not be in the mood to make music to be over there and not lay something down on the mic. even then, that may be looked upon as just lazy as hell.

either way, we’ve knocked out three joints so far ….most will go on their projects to come, and this one…this one’s definitely going on mine.

indeed. right now it’s just a matter of time before i hit the radio waves with it and ’see wussup’.

anyway..i could go on for hours about this shish but my ‘hip hop review’ skills are still in early development. plus i really don’t like rap.

i think rappers are the audible cancer infecting not only the music of modern day, but also the prestige of senseless raping and pillaging of small villages on African soil. Why do all that just to have rappers blow their cash advances on bling they’ll have to give back anyway?!!!!?!?!?

but no really…

the ignorantly blissful aspects of hip hop do allow me to easily understand anyone who feels as if : ‘rap music is beneath me’ (c) count bass d

** This Project = my debut solo album “Radio Active”
