LIBERATION LOUNGE,TRIBE ONE,4WALLS

This was truly a good weekend!  After following a smashing performance at marketsquare, BSANE had the honor of opening up the LIBERATION LOUNGE at Tribe One.  The crowd was small (as compared to market square and or fluid engineer shows circa 2001) but the energy was far from lacking!  The base of the audience were the youth, and that’s really point.  They were also the base of the performers, and it was truly refreshing to get insight on the thoughts of our young adults (in THEIR WORDS not some psycho analysis from some outside over educated observers) — true indeed.  We expect this things to do nothing but grow (after all….corner lounge started the same)

i can’t easily respect those who don’t go through with things cause the start-off a lil bumpy.  that’s not the mark of a champion.

I got the green light from TRIBE ONE to record my album.  Very exciting indeed.

but ontop of all that, George (PoppaDop!) of 4WALLS, just hit on the email and let me know that the documentary on blacksunshine is well on it’s way to film festivals! 

For those of you who don’t know, 4walls is a production/film company that has been following Black Sunshine (as well as other noted groups such as The Notti Love Joys) for over two years, and have done such an emmaculate job of filming and editing, that when they tried to put the FIRST INSTALLMENT of our documentary on YOUTUBE, the YOUTUBE STAFF took the film offline because they thought that 4WALLS was putting up some other tv station’s footage!  —cause it’s against their rules to post up hollywood films, pbs documentaries, or any major film publisher’s work!  — crrraazzzyy rye?  check it out!

This is beyond us.  Truly all praise be to the Most High.
